Still not got the hang of it

Well, I can stick a photo on this thing, but can't direct it to where I want it to go......can you tell it's STRESSING ME OUT!!!!!

Mr iMac won't let me put the Moonphase thingy on in the side bar. Any techies out there who could offer advice?

You know that old saying..."Light's on, but no-one's at home"?.......So, today....went shopping and forgot lightbulbs...again. I always forget the flippin things. Soon, we shall be lit by soley candlelight. Ah...would be romantic...but not a man in sight!! Best way, really, given my perimenopausal mood swings of late!!! And why do you have to pay vat on sanitary towels? Bet you wouldn't have to if men had bloody periods!! Ha ha...don't excuse the pun...sorry.....

Anyway, on the HE human front....

We have flu! Human flu...not bird flu. Poor little turkey birds. Glad I'm a vego!!! Loud n Proud!!! Sort of puts a mokka on it. Even the budgies, Fred n Wilma, are sneezing..... House smells of Vick and Olbas Oil. Beats dog sweat, I suppose! Ha...I joke...not..

We went to town today, tissues up hooters, and managed to hit a few charity shops on our retail therapy run. 50p a book in one place, so Mama here gets a whole bucketful for junior. Science, astronomy, civilisations...meanwhile....junior is very quiet.....finds her...sat on floor cross-legged and reading away...oblivious to all around her. Lost in words...so..we had to buy that book aswell. Amazing how she's come on in her reading in such a short time. When I deregged her from school she could hardly read a word and now she has a reading age of 10+. Not bad for an 8 year old who is autonomously home edded. She taught herself really. She's the type who doesn't like interference. Likes to suss things out for herself...and then she'll ask if needs be. A proper independent woman...Yay!!!!!

So....we did a bit of photography...iMac thingy has this photo booth - it's so cool. Special FX and all. We have tons of photos...way too many for this blog. but you know I'll go overboard. I'd still like to know how to get the Moonphase thingy up on the side, though!!!
